Distance Learning Logistics - The ACS Headquarters facility, located in Virginia Beach, VA, has established agreements with various vendors, whereby they ship to our facility essential materials that are used during the construction of Distance Learning classrooms. ACS utilizes the site "kit concept" to expedite the positioning of materials at each location. ACS loads shipping containers with these materials in the order in which our on-site construction personnel would utilize them. We then preposition these vehicles at the construction site providing the ACS on-site team with flooring, electrical, cabling and other key materials. When they arrive at the construction site. ACS personnel, working with local suppliers and contractors completes the demolition of existing structures and the build-out of the new Distance Learning classrooms as designed from the previously conducted site surveys. Additionally, ACS provides all classroom furniture/workstations/computers and video-teleconferencing equipment that may be required.
